CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Did you see the group photo of the overhead station in Phase I and China’s first As train of Line 10? Recently a photographer named “Liuhe” took some photos. It is said that the scene took place on August 25. This was the first appearance of the train for Line 10 at the overhead station.

Changhe Station is the only overhead station of Line 10. With a theme of “Chongqing Speed”, many revolving arcs decorate the facade of this station. The external curtain wall is paved with aluminum honeycomb boards, and some of the boards are able to be opened.

It is worth mentioning that the train for Line 10 is the first As train in China. As train is a new type for mountainous Chongqing with numerous slopes, sharp turns and deep stations, based on the standard A/B train, of which the parameters and power system are optimized.

To open this year and Terminal 3 is accessible

News from the Chongqing Rail Transit Construction Headquarters of China Railway Group Limited said that the main construction work of Line 10 in Phase I have been completed and 95% of ancillary works to the stations have been completed. It is expected that the whole Line will open by the end of this year.

Line 10 starts from Liyuchi Station to Wangjiazhuang Station and runs through Jiangbei Station, Liangjiang New Area and Yubei District, enjoying a total length of 34.28km. It has nineteen stations, including one overhead station and eighteen underground stations.
