Intelligent system at T3

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, T3A and the third runway of Chongqing Airport were opened, marking Chongqing Airports’ entrance into the “Three runway era,” which can support two airplanes to take off and land at the same time.

After T3A and the third runway were put into use, Chongqing Airport was divided into east and west terminal areas for operation, becoming the first airport with three terminals and realizing simultaneous operation of three runways in west China.

Highlight 1: convenient transfer

Free ferry bus, ticket canceling and changing

Passengers can take the free ferry bus at Gates 4, 7 and 9 on the L1 floor of T3A. Initial operation period: the bus leaves every 30 minutes during 00:00-4:00, every 5 minutes during 4:00-22:00 and every 10 minutes during 22:30-24:00. For passengers delay due to going to the wrong terminal, the Airport will try to provide ticket refunding or changing service for free.
