CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Though the new term has not begun, the students of Chongqing No. 1 Middle School have seen their school in a special way – the drawings made by the new fine arts teacher Chen Zhihao over about a month. Some students said they can’t wait to go back to school.

Chen has finished 8 drawings of different sites including the school gate, library, Mangham Building, Yingxia Lake, Technology Building and so on. In these drawings, the gate is magnificent, the library is full of vitality surrounded by trees and the India Lake is quiet and distinctive.

All the drawings represent places of the school chosen by Chen. “People can easily know it is No. 1 Middle School when seeing these pictures,” said Chen. He walked round and round in the school and spent several days to find his subjects.

It was not easy to draw the pictures. After training and subject selection, Chen started the creation at home in Dazhou Sichuan. “The hand drawings all need on-site delineation, view photographing, draft drawing and coloring and each step shall be conducted carefully,” said Chen.

“Each picture needs two to three days and if the line or the color is incorrect, the drawing is failed,” said Chen. In the new term, he will share these drawings with students.
