Huangjue Gate is formed by two ancient ficus virens which have an average age of over 300 years. These two old trees embrace each other and unite into one body three meters above the ground, forming a natural gate to Bayue Mountain. Therefore, it's called “Huangjue Gate.” As a symbol of loyal love, it's said that if the lovers walk through Huangjue Gate, they will marry.

Wanshou Mountain, located twenty kilometers east of Shizhu County, is known to all for the famous general Qin Liangyu fortressing against enemies in the end of Ming Dynasty. There is a pair of towering steles on south and north side of the fortress, which looks very much like a man and a woman. Therefore, they are called "Male Stele" and "Female Stele". Male Stele faces north with one hundred meters of height and the hair worn in a bun. It looks like a tall man. The Female stele faces south and is over 70 meters high, featuring dignified gestures and divinely beautiful face. Shizhu County has the name because of that.
