CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the most important women’s international marathon event in China, the Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon attracts running enthusiasts from all over the world with its unique charm. The organizing committee recently announced it will provide a secondary registration to girls who have missed the previous registration and help them to compete in the race.

In the past two years, the Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon, has become the largest female marathon in China, and continues to have a growing influence. At the beginning of this year, the event has also been certified as a "bronze China athletics event" by China Athletic Association. The International Women's Half Marathon will be upgraded this year. It will combine "sport + fashion" with Chongqing Fashion Week and invite the famous costume designer Zhang Yichao to design a racing suit. It will also establish "match in match", jointly cooperating with a well-known event association for the first time.

For some undisclosed reason, the race will be postponed until November 5th. The postponement gives the organizing committee more time to prepare and perfect the match characteristics. At the same time, in order to meet the aspirations of other athletes who want to join, the committee gives secondary enrollment for half marathon (21.0975 kilometers), 10 kilometers and mini (5 kilometers) for 100 runners. Because of the limited numbers, the secondary enrollment will be awarded on a first come first served basis.

The registration process will be opened from 10:35 on September 18th to 23:59 on September 25th. Those who have missed the first registration are able to register on the Chongqing International Women's Marathon official website (http://cqwm.sports.letv.com/) and the official WeChat (2017重庆国际女子半程马拉松赛). If you are a woman who loves running, please hurry and sign up! (Translated by Shi Yali, Fathom Language Limited)
