CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- How do dinosaurs come alive? Of course, it doesn’t means to resurrect a real dinosaur by DNA technology as showed in movie Jurassic Park. Instead, it means to resurrect a dinosaur to present “alive” status. From October 1 to November 30, the “How Dinosaurs Come Alive” Exhibition will be held at the Chongqing Natural History Museum.

The “How Dinosaurs Come Alive” Exhibition displays the process of scientific restoration of dinosaurs from the perspective of “scientific restoration” according to the clues of “dinosaur impression – fossil excavation – skeleton building – morphological appearance – behaviors and habits” and combined with classic dinosaur restoration research cases. In addition, the exhibition will present the audience with the latest paleontology research results, such as the latest morphology of spinosaurus, body color of psittacosaurus and dinosaur in amber, all of which are scientific research results released in 2016 or findings in ongoing research.

There are 7 theme booths set up at the exhibition, including “Are dinosaurs really as imagined by you?” “Who knows my real appearance?” “How dinosaurs show their muscles?” “What dinosaurs’ coats look like?” “What’s the daily life of dinosaurs?” “Does dinosaur die out?” “Which dinosaur do you want to resurrect most?” There are 41 questions in total and the audience can start the mystery tour about dinosaur resurrection by answering these questions.
