CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Now the passenger can select seat when buying high-speed train tickets. The railway authority also initiated “Continuous Transfer” to improve the service.

Beginning October 12, passengers can buy tickets from www.12306.cn or through a mobile app. If no ticket is available or no train is available from the departure place to the destination, passengers may choose the “Continuous Transfer” option and the system will show the tickets of other trains remaining to transfer. If the passenger buys tickets to transfer midway, the payment for tickets of two trips can be made at the same time.
