Communication with readers in Chongqing

Because he is thin.” Said a famous writer who is good at interpreting the arts with interesting words. Recently, he visited the Sisyphe Bookstore (MIX City) with his new book and talked about art with readers.

His new book (《小顾聊绘画·文艺复兴》) is about the Renaissance, and introduces nine artists, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. In a section (《神与肌肉人》), he focuses on Michelangelo and calls him “Michelangelo Muscle”. His book introduces the features of Michelangelo’s works and why he likes muscle.

He has never learned art, so how does he know about such works? He said honestly that the contents in the book can be researched online, but maybe others may think it is boring material. However, he spent one year on including such “boring” content with an interesting method and aspect. He has seen such pictures and artistic works in his book.
