On the evening of October 15th, a “Qiansimen Bridge” made from cardboard appeared at the Chongqing IFS in Jiangbeizui.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “Wow, how beautiful it is!” On the evening of October 15th, the “Qiansimen” bridge was exhibited at the IFS of Jiangbeizui and won the cheers of people.

From October 11th to 15th, Chongqing IFS held the “Cardboard City” Environmental Protection Culture and Art Activity with the Consulate General of France in Chengdu. Two French visual artists led over 300 volunteers to make components with cardboard and adhesive tape in four days and put up them in just nine hours, completing the 26m long and 22m tall Qiansimen bridge – a landmark building of Chongqing.

The “Cardboard City” activity was the theme activity held in Sino-French Environmental Protection Month for discussing the “Cardboard City”.
