CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The November 11 (11/11) is coming soon. According to the State Post Bureau, the total express packages shipped (from November 11 - 16) will exceed 1 billion. Facing the great amount of shipping, the logistic platforms have prepared for it. The journalist recently visited Cainiao’s Super Robot Storage in Huiyang, Guangdong, and found that over 100 robots can deliver over 1 million express packages a day and provide good logistic services for South China and Hong Kong. The journalist also learned that the Super Robot Storage will cover main cities, and will appear in Chongqing as planned.

To meet this high November 11 demand, Cainiao started preparing the upgrading of robot storage several months ago.

The journalist saw that all shelves in the old area were emptied within one hour, and the new area was quickly filled with the goods in order. During the whole process, nearly 1 million packages were handled.

Before this November 11, Cainiao will use robot storage technology in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hubei and others.
