Pianyan Ancient Town

When it comes to the origin of Pianyan Ancient Town, it was built beginning in the 24th year of the reign of Qianlong. Owning to a steep cliff in the northern town, the town was called Pianyan Town. Since its foundation over 300 years ago, the town has basically maintained the architectural features of the ancient town. There are old buildings on ancient streets, stages and the Yuwang Temple Inn, the folk arts of song groups and yangko dance as well as the folk handicrafts of wood and stone carving, and iron crafts.
