Wangwu Bandeng Noodle 王五板櫈面

There is no shop front for Wangwu except for a very small kitchen. Customers must eat noodles on the sidewalk outside the shop. Because of the eating ways by high stool and low stool, the noodle restaurant got its name of Bandeng (stool) Noodle. It uses rich seasonings, and a satisfying spicy taste but only a small amount of noodles. The the well-known noodles are served with the sauce of ancient Yuzhong District. It closes at one o'clock in the afternoon.

Yihao Noodle 一号面庄

Yihao Noodle is facing the bus stop at Yihaoqiao Bus Station. They have always been open until 14:00. The shopkeeper is responsible for food delivery and the proprietress for cooking. There is no extra charge for packing and delivering. There are only about five tables inside the shop and some stools at the door. When there are many customers, they can eat their noodles outside similar to the way adopted by Bandeng Noodle. They will put soft-boiled soybeans into the noodle, which tastes excellent. The sauce adopted by traditional sauce noodles is still produced by fermented flour sweet sauce, retaining the pristine taste.
