MINSK, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said cooperation between Belarus and China strengthens his country's political and economic independence.

"Belarus has really good relations with China, there are many joint projects," Makei said in an article published in Tuesday's Financial Times, which is also carried by the website of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The Chinese side has never put forward any conditions for a more active development of the cooperation, the minister stressed.

"In general, we have never had any difficulties with China. Our relations with China are developing very dynamically," Makei added.

Belarus cooperates with China in various fields, including military, technology, and security, among others. "Such cooperation helps us to be a stronger nation," the minister said.
