CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “去过很多城市，我只喜欢重庆。” (Among the many cities I have traveled, I only like Chongqing.") This is CELESTIN NDUWIMANA from Rwanda (Chinese name 陈伟) written in a letter home. We have learned from the organizing committee of "我在重庆学汉语" (I am in Chongqing) that this letter home has been awarded the first prize in the letter/article group. The short film of Abraham Adhiprama Limarga from Indonesia (Chinese name 林锐) took first prize in the video group. The photos of "old alley" against the background of Ciqikou by Ezadeen Abadel (Chinese name 阿巴代) from Yemen has been awarded the first prize in the photography group.

More than 460 works have been contributed by foreigners in Chongqing

In late May this year, Shapingba District and Hualong Group jointly launched the activity of "我在重庆学汉语", which collected videos, pictures and letters home facing all foreigners in Chongqing by the WeChat official account of "Hello Chongqing".

After two months of collection, foreign nationals from over 40 countries have contributed their works. They come from the United States, Germany, Russia, France, Italy, Indonesian, Pakistani, Bangladesh, Japan, Israel, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Angora and other countries. More than 460 pieces of works including letters home, pictures and videos have been contributed to the organizing committee.
