Students learning the municipal-level intangible cultural heritage of “playing a tune with a leaf”

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 29th, in the Xiqin Guild Hall of Gongtan Ancient Town, Youyang County, the municipal-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors Huang Xiuchang and Li Ming and their disciples taught the skills of intangible cultural heritages. Students of Chongqing University, Chongqing Normal University and Sichuan International Studies University learned “Yang Opera with Mask”, “playing a tune with leaf” and gong and drum playing.

After the Third Youyang National College Students Tourism Festival, more than 1,500 students entered the Xiqin Guild Hall in batches to learn Tujia waving dance, Youyang folk song, epic song, leaf music playing, gong and drum playing and other national and municipal-level intangible cultural heritages so as to know the charm of Youyang Tujia culture.
