On October 30, Shi Guangnan Grand Theater witnessed the performance of Princess Xinyi.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “We have to live our life…” said ragged refugees when they appeared on stage with the symphony, unveiling a story about love. On October 30, the new version Princess Xinyi was opened at Shi Guangnan Grand Theater, bringing the house down.

It is reported that this opera has been in preparation for four years, and first performed in November 2016, and it is one of the representatives of the 5th Chongqing Performance Season.

This opera was performed by Xie Tian (Tenor from Central Conservatory of Music) and Cui Jinghai (Mezzo-soprano from China National Opera House). They were accompanied by an aria from Prince Palmiter and Xinyi Flower. To attain a better stage effect, nearly a hundred advanced lighting devices were purchased.
