CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The results of “the beauty of Jiulong” evaluation have just been announced and the “Yangjiaping Meibao Park” recommended by the Yangjiaping business area won the title of “the most beautiful park”.

Years ago, Meibao was just a park shaped by its natural terrain in the center of Yangjiaping. With time passing by, it became old. In 2015, the Yangjiaping business area was repositioned as a business circle with “creative culture, humanistic wisdom and ecological & leisure places.” After building a visual arts gallery in the light rail station, renewing public facilities, transforming underground passage and other renovations, Yangjiaping has become a business area featuring “creative culture”. And creating the first modern art park of Southeast China is one of the key components.

In the park, there is a small pool beside the colorful tile square and the stone chairs. Their design was inspired by the Park Güell in Barcelona, Spain.

The tiles in the park are not common mosaic tiles, but specially fired colored tiles. They cover an area of about 1000m.

The most prominent feature of the park is the 28 sets of modern sculptures and paintings like “Monologue” and “Naivety”. Most of these works were shown in large exhibitions both home and abroad.
