Former Residence of Feng Yuxiang 冯玉祥旧居

This is a common Chongqing house built in the late Qing Dynasty style, facing the east, made of wood with a Chuan-dou type frame, single-eave and gable, hip roof and Chinese-style tile roofing. The quadrangle dwellings are composed of one front space and three inside courtyards, containing 36 rooms. They are of high historic, artistic and humanistic value.

The main restoration work of former residence of Feng Yuxiang was completed on August 31st, 2003 and it was formally opened on December 6th of that year.

Former Residence of Zhang Zhizhong 张治中旧居

Located in Sanshenggong Village, Tuzhu Town, Shapingba District, the former residence is a courtyard type architecture built by leaning hill, covering an area of 5,333m2. It was a temple in the Qing Dynasty and is a rare ancient architecture integrating Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. It has more than 200 years’ history.
