For the convenience of passengers, Chongqing Liangjiang Public Transport Airport Service Company has launched the handheld terminal payment service for airport express K01 and K02.

There are several payment methods for buying bus tickets at the airport express: cash, IC card, ticket machine and WeChat. “Since the opening of the T3A terminal, the passenger volume has obviously increased and many passengers have no small change or prefer to use WeChat. People may have to wait at the bus door to buy tickets via WeChat, which may lead to jam,” said the staff of the Liangjiang Public Transport Airport Service Company. So, the company has adopted the handset terminal for K01 and K02 at T3A terminal.

To buy a ticket now, a passenger needs only to open the payment code of WeChat or Alipay and the staff will scan the code with the handheld terminal. The whole process for ticket purchasing only needs 2 to 3 seconds.

The K01 bus runs from Jiangbei Airport to Jiefangbei and K02 runs from Jiangbei Airport to the North Square of Chongqingbei Railway Station.
