CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the opening ceremony of “Homeland – Huang Gesheng Chinese Painting Exhibition” was held at the Chongqing Art Museum. The Exhibition tour (Chongqing Stop) was organized by Guangxi Arts University, Chongqing Art Museum, and co-organized by the Guangxi Committee of Zhi Gong Party, Lijiang Painting Promotion Association.”

Huang Gesheng

Huang Gesheng has been involved in landscape painting for a long time. His works are based on the natural sceneries of Guangxi and demonstrate strong native consciousness and love for his homeland. His landscape paintings hold a key position in the circle of Chinese painters. Huang is a representative of “Lijiang Painting”. The Exhibition exhibits the works of Huang in the last six years, a total of about 100 paintings.

Exhibition

These works show both the painter’s love of his homeland and how Huang’s personal style has evolved. The exhibition highlights the role of his artistic exploration process, achievement and academic opinion in leading the national painting development.
