Pregnant mothers performed a dance on the 6th Body Painting Contest of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children.

Mothers-to-be paint different patterns on their bellies, hoping that the babies will be healthy.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- It is hard to imagine that the blue lotus, sunflower and landscape painting are all painted on the bellies of mothers-to-be. Recently, the Body Painting Contest organized by the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children attracted the attention of many mothers-to-be and left good memories of their pregnancy.

At the site of activity, the 27 families competed through painting on belly, dance performance and modern fancywork. Fathers-to-be painted with imagination on the belly of the mothers-to-be with pigment for human body.

Since 2012, the body painting contest has become an annual event of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children and this year, more than 120 families have taken part in. (Translated by Xu Mengmiao, Fathom Language Limited)
