CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- There are “special seats” for your luggage” on Line 10. For passengers’ convenience and to prevent luggage from blocking the aisle, the racks have been installed in the train of Line 10.

Line 10 implements the first “As” train in China and it is now in the debugging and trial operation stage. The train is intended for use on the Chongqing light rail system and is suitable for mountainous regions, featuring strong gradeability, short turning radius and large passenger capacity.

Since Line 10 stops at Chongqingbei Railway Station and Jiangbei International Airport and many passengers will bring luggage, the luggage racks are installed. This is the first time that luggage racks have been set in a CRT train.

Each train has four luggage racks located at the end of each car. The dimension of each luggage track is 780x604x1695mm on three levels. The luggage track can hold 2,000N and luggages of different sizes.

According to Rules for Taking Rail Transit of Chongqing, the luggage shall not exceed 20kg and the sum of length, width and height shall not exceed 2m. Luggage that fails to meet the above rules shall not be allowed in. (Translated by Ma Shuangshuang, Fathom Language Limited)
