One service area per 34km in 2020

According to the Chongqing Expressway Group, now there are 2,922km of completed expressways in Chongqing, with 18 interprovincial exits. By the end of this year, the mileage of expressway open to traffic will be over 3,000km.

Next, on the basis of 59 current services areas, the Expressway Group will build new areas and expand others to perfect the layout and reduce the average distance between two areas from 50km to 34km.

Here are some future service areas:

Luohuang Service Area will take “Expressway + Auto Exhibition & Sale” as its theme of Luohuang;

“Expressway + Recuperation & Holiday Resort” of Weilong Service Area;

“Expressway + Local Products Trade” of Yunlong Service Area; “Expressway + Flowers, Plants & Tourism” of Jingguan Service Area;

“Expressway + Tea Culture” of Daguan Service Area,

“Expressway + Resort” of Dayou Service Area,
