As a college library, it is a classic art. You can notice the murals at both sides when entering the door, one with a yellowish background and one with a blue background. The former one means “open” – constantly change, while the later one means “discovery” – pursuit for truth. You also can notice some cultural heritage items there, such as compass, papermaking technology, gunpowder, typographic printing, chimes, sundial, vehicle wheel and abacus.

The South Area faces the “Inheritance”, which is carved with original symbols and bronze inscriptions.
