CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chengdu Railway Bureau reported that both the established construction targets have been completed for the first high-speed rail depot station building, located in the Shapingba central region of Chongqing. Shapingba Station officially started the static acceptance work and it is expected to be opened before the 2018 Spring Festival. The station connects the existing Chengdu-Chongqing high speed railway. After the commissioning, the running time of the existing Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed train will be reduced from 1.5 hours to 1 hour, achieving one hour's traffic cycle between Chengdu and Chongqing.
