The foreigners from 40 countries cheer up for Chongqing; Who won the 30-thousand-yuan award?

The Rwanda student learned many Chongqing dialects.

Chen Wei (Chinese name), just 20 years old, comes from Rwanda. He came to Chongqing in September 2016. In order to learn Chinese, Chen Wei often spent much time reading Chinese novels, learning Chinese songs, watching Chinese movies and chatting with others through WeChat or QQ, by which he makes friends and learns Chinese. Great progress has been made in his Chinese level within one year.

He said: "Chongqing people are very friendly and many of them I know have made friends with me." During 2017 Spring Festival, Chen Wei did not go home. He was invited by a Chongqing family to spend the first spring festival in his life in Shapingba. By getting along with this Chongqing family, he learned a lot of Chongqing dialect.

In May this year, "I learned Chinese in Chongqing" was officially launched. After Chen Wei learned the news from the Internet, he decided to take a test of his Chinese level by this opportunity. He wrote a letter home with the title of "Have been in many cities, I only like Chongqing", which tells of the delicacy, beautiful scenery and traditional virtue by classic examples.

For Chen Wei's letter, the former Chongqing Writers Association secretary, executive vice president Wang Mingkai gave his thumbs up. He said it's a letter with fascinating details and plots. The readers will find the beauty of Chongqing by reading it.

The Indonesian boy concentrated on Chongqing beautiful scenery within 3 minutes.

The 22-year-old Lin Rui (Chinese name) comes from Indonesia. By video recording, he integrated delicacy, tourists, buildings, historical culture and local customs of Sanxia Square and Ciqikou ancient town. He focused on the beauty of Chongqing by examining details.

Lin Rui said much preparation had been made to complete the video work. Because he studies in Nan'an District, he could only visit Shapingba District in his spare time. He must experience the cultural connotation and cultural custom so as to look for inspiration. After investing a lot of time and energy, he created a three minute movie.

For Lin Rui's video work, Xian Yuhuang, a professor from the School of Literature and Journalism, Chongqing Normal University, praised with seven words: dynamic and static, quick and slow, focused, intensive and profound. He believes that this work reflects life in-depth with vivid details and rich content. It is worthy of the first prize name of video group.
