CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At a recent press conference, it was announced that the Chongqing Yinglong Gorge Tourist Attraction will be put into trial operation starting New Year's Day of 2018, and officially opened on March 1, 2018. Shiba Sakura is expected to bloom in March 2018 for tourists to appreciate.
The attraction has three sites, including a 3D panoramic glass bridge, Shuanglong Waterfall and Shiba Sakura. There will also be four extreme sports including a high-speed zipline, grass skiing, glass water skiing and treking through the jungle.
The 3D glass bridge is the first panoramic glass bridge in Chongqing, and the closest glass landscape to the urban area. The bridge is 200 meters long, with a free height of 160 meters. It is the first span glass bridge of Chongqing and the No. 1 bridge in southeast China. The bridge body has a high safety factor, and is made of bullet-proof glass, so the glass of the bridge surface is over four times stronger than other bridges. To ensure safety, the idler wheels used in the bridge body are the same as those used for light rails. The 3D effect is used at both ends of the bridge for tourists to have an exciting experience when walking on the bridge.
