Line 6’s Pingchang Station renamed: we’re arriving at “Happy Valley Station”
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing rail transit now has a “Happy Valley Station”! Recently, a shutterbug “Liuhe” found the sign for “Happy Valley Station” at Pingchang Station when taking Line 6’s International Expo Center Branch.
The reporter went to Pingchang Station of Line 6’s International Expo Center Branch and found that the name on the station signs and map had been changed from “Pingchang Station” to “Happy Valley Station”.
After arriving at “Happy Valley Station”, passengers can go to Chongqing Happy Valley by exit 3, which is the most convenient route to Happy Valley.
And notably, the screen display and broadcast station reporting in Line 6 trains remain currently unchanged. The station name on the traffic map in train coaches also remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, except for those at Happy Valley Station and Line 2’s Niujiaotuo Station, the station name on traffic map at most of the other light rail stations is still Pingchang Station. (Translated by Huang Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
