CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Line 3, starting from Yudong at Banan District, ending at Jurenba of Yubei District, connects 2 railway stations, 6 long-distance bus stations and 3 urban commercial centers. It crosses five districts including Yubei, Jiangbei, Yuzhong, Nan’an and Banan. Line 3 is the artery of transportation connecting the south and north of Chongqing, and there are many tourist attractions along the line.

Andover Polar Ocean Park at Xuetangwan Station

Chongqing Andover Polar Ocean Park is the largest integrated ocean park in Southwest China and is divided into two theme parks including Ocean Park and Whales & Dolphin Bay Water World. The Rainforest House and Ocean House in Ocean Park have been opened, and over 16 water amusement equipment items will be introduced in Whales & Dolphin Bay such as “Swimming with Dolphins”, “Snorkeling the Coral Reef” and “Drifting on the Seafloor” will be launched for the first time in China.

Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling and the Huangguang Escalator at Lianglukou Station

The Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling was the former site of the Central Committee of the “Great Alliance of Defending China” during the anti-Japanese war period. It consists of the main building, rear building and air-raid shelter, and exhibits 110 objects and historical photos.

Huangguang Escalator is one of the featured transportations of Chongqing, connecting Lianglukou and Caiyuanba. With a total length of 112m, and a grade of 30 degrees, it runs at a speed of 0.75m/s and has an entire running time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. It is the second longest individual escalator in Asia.

Zhongshan 4th Road at Niujiaotuo Station

Praised as one of the most beautiful streets of Chongqing, Zhongshan 4th Road is also a street with anti-war culture, showing the history of Chongqing. There are many historical sites on this street including Teyuan for China's Democratic Parties, Guiyuan, Zhou’s Residences and former site of President Office of National Government.

Garden Expo –Garden Expo Station

Chongqing Garden Expo was the site of the 8th China (Chongqing) International Garden EXPO. It contains 4 functional zones, 5 characteristic buildings and 127 city exhibition zones.
