CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing is to build 3,197 toilets in scenic spots in the upcoming three years to promote the development of the tourism industry, according to news from the Chongqing Tourism Administration.

 

Journalists visited Chongqing Garden Expo Park and learned about the new toilets.

Chongqing Garden Expo Park held the 8th China (Chongqing) International Garden Expo. It set 10 exhibition areas, gardens representing 127 cities and 26 featured science spots. It is a super city garden integrating natural and human landscape.

The mother-and-baby room is fully equipped.

The organizer reported, “We have 22 independent public toilets now. Together with those in exhibition halls, there are 32 in total which could meet the needs of all tourists”.

To apply for the National AAAAA Scenic Spot, Chongqing Garden Expo Park will build a 3A toilet next year. After it is completed, the supporting facility is updated. (Translated by Li Li, Fathom Language Limited)
