CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The name “Simba” may remind you of the character in Disney’s cartoon movie The Lion King. However, for wildlife protection volunteers, “Simba” refers to a person – the first Chinese who devoted himself to full-time wildlife protection in African wilderness, who set up an NGO in Africa. The other day, the event documentary with Simba as the hero Lion Heart was on the air at the History Channel, which has attracted much attention.

Lion Heart tells the story of Simba, the Chinese guy who left for Africa and started his wildlife protection career with lions. It records Simba’s journey since 2004, when he met the wild lion in Africa for the first time. It is an unusual documentary made by the History Channel that themed on natural ecological protection, and the hero is a Chinese.
