CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As Chinese is increasingly popular in the world, an increasing number of foreigners are studying Chinese, and the most difficult aspect for them is the writing. An enterprise in Chongqing has innovatively developed a system which deconstructs more than 8000 Chinese characters with 26 letters.

It is welcomed by foreigners

Ado from Egypt said that “I have studied Chinese at SISU for more than one year. I can communicate fluently in Chinese, and I know some Chongqing provincialism. However, the writing is so hard and I nearly remember no strokes. With this system named ‘Hanzihui’, I can learn the writing rapidly”.

Li Yake from Togo said “The Chinese characters are easier with this system. For example, ‘区’ is deconstructed into C and X. It’s visualized”.

The “Images of China” Culture Carnival Tour was recently launched and “World Tour of Chinese Characters” is one of the key parts. At the opening ceremony, several overseas students shared their experience of learning Chinese characters with this system.

It was developed by a Chongqing person - Gao Xiaoming, a graduate from the Department of Sculpture at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. For the reason, Gao said that “I’m interested in pictograph during college life. I found the ancient inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells are similar to English letters. So I tried to deconstruct the Chinese characters. I founded Chongqing Zizhao Education Technology Co., Ltd. and took seven years to developed this system – ‘Hanzihui’”.

It deconstructs more than 8000 Chinese characters with 26 letters. For example, “区” is deconstructed into c and x while “善” into K, H, K and O. The most complicated one is deconstructed into 12 letters. This helps the foreigners learn Chinese characters more visually.

It is a systematic product, including a special dictionary, input method, APP, teaching video and other items. It has obtained a domestic patent for utility models, design and invention and it was approved by EUIPO.

The system will be promoted more in the future. (Translated by Li Li, Fathom Language Limited)
