CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The winter holiday is coming. It is essential for parents to bring children to watch cartoons. Ferdinand, produced by the former staff of Ice Age and Rio will be shown on January 19. Ferdinand, the first imported cartoon of the year, previewed in Chongqing, and attracted audiences by its warm story.

Ferdinand, adapted from a classical Spanish story published in 1936, was adapted into a cartoon short film by Walt Disney in 1938, and awarded an Oscar for Best Cartoon Short Film that year. It was the best seller in the United States, with its sales volume being even higher than Gone with the Wind.

The film is about the adventure of Ferdinand the bull. Ferdinand is tall and strong but soft and kind-hearted, and likes flowers. The film theme is warm and love. Facing the spear held by the matador at last, Ferdinand solves the dilemma in his own way.
