CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The investment attraction of the Chongqing “German City” project was officially initiated in Jiangbei District on January 23rd. Meanwhile, the Jiangbei Smart Manufacturing Forum, integrating the multiple advantages of Jiangbei District, was held for promoting the domestic and overseas enterprises’ joint development and connecting Jiangbei and even Chongqing with the World.

Create a new “bridgehead” for deep Sino-European Cooperation

The Chongqing “German City” & Smart Manufacturing Forum was organized by the Chongqing Commerce Commission, Chongqing Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office and Jiangbei People’s Government. Its purpose was to strengthen Chongqing’s position as an important element in western development and a focal point in the Belt and Road and Yangtze River Economic Zone.

The German City, led by Siemens, is an economic and trade program for German enterprises in Chongqing, a cluster district for European enterprises, and a“bridgehead” for the technology, merchandise trade and cultural exchange between Southwest China and Europe. It is to further deepen the cooperation of Chongqing and European enterprises in smart manufacturing, economics and trade.
