Chinese and foreign guests on the Forum.

German City is located at the main area of Shimahe, Jiangbei District. It is in the north of the Jiangbei Yudai Characteristic Shopping Mall, covering four developed areas: Shimahe, Dashiba, Huaxinjie and Guanyinqiao. There are mature environmental and transportation facilities at the site. It is five-minute drive to the inner ring and minutes away from Jiangbei International Airport.

The land for construction of German City is about 8.3 hectares and its scale of construction reaches up to nearly 300,000 square meters. It will be comprised of one platform and three international parts (for foreign-related commercial service, cultural and tourism service and an international part for “smart life experience”) and aims to be a German-style experience area.

Multiple policies safeguard the project

When people gather together, they can create infinite opportunities.

After several years’ preparation and gathering resources, and utilizing the China Pilot Free Trade Zone, China-Singapore Demonstration Initiative, and China Railway Express, the German City Project has entered into a new phase. It has become a part of the Belt and Road Initiative and Yangtze River Economic Zone and has taken a role in perfecting Jiangbei open channels, creating open platforms and cultivating open subjects.

Talent is necessary for industrial development. Jiangbei has a multilayer, interdisciplinary, all-round human resource policy and guarantee system. Projects like “Jiangbei Talents”, “Jiangbei Talent Green Card”, “Jiangbei Innovative Entrepreneur Appraisal”, and “Jiangbei Innovative Talents Cultivation Base” have been created for discovering and supporting new talents.

The multi-layered talents guarantee system covers skilled andhigh-level talents. The system works with innovation & entrepreneurship teams in both technology-intensive and knowledge-intensive industries ranging from culture creativity to modern communication and new energy. The talent projects aim to gather urgently needed workers in key industries, and provide support for the future development and growth of German City.
