"JINWA PRIZE 2017" announced in Chongqing

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, a design award judged by living experts - 2017 JINWA PRIZE ceremony was held in Chongqing. Finally, the Gold Award for commercial space design was won by Daipu from Beijing Daipu Architects for "Anti-Domino No. 02 – Wood Mountain". The Gold Award for the annual residential space design was won by "Changjiahui Private House" created by Zheng Hongfei and Xie Bin. The “Yongjiang Yiting” designed by Zhang Tingting from Yinyi Design won the annual residential scheme Gold Award.

It is learned that a total of 527 pieces of works have been received from Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou for this year. After the mass-election period judged by chairman and vice chairman of Chongqing Interior Architecture Design Association president, 117 sets of works were selected to enter last evaluation phase. After second appraisal by 38 living experts, 43 annual excellent works were selected.

"Anti-Domino No. 02 – Wood Mountain" was designed for a bar which is located on Linjiang section of Nan'an District. Because of its unique design, it has become a "Online Celebrity" bar. Inside the bar, the huge "wood mountain" hovering in space, which makes people think of the mountain in Chongqing spontaneously. Indoor and outdoor scenes echo each other. Wherever you are, the beautiful and unique skyline of Yuzhong Peninsula is available.

In addition, the designers of the Gold Award for the annual residential space design Zheng Hongfei and Xie Bin, the designer of the gold Award for annual residential scheme Zhang Tingting are both Chongqing natives.

It is reported that, JINWA PRIZE was launched in 2015 by the design financial magazine "WATCH spectator" and jointly organized by Chongqing Interior Architecture Design Association.
