CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the reporter learned from the Chongqing Football Association that Chongqing, along with Beijing, Shanghai and other cities, is in the first group of "Chinese Football Association Youth Training Centers" in the new cycle.

From last August, the Chinese Football Association carried out nationwide inspection and assessment of the youth football training centers. Finally, there are 15 units approved as the first set of youth training centers in the new cycle.

According to Chongqing Football Association secretary-general Du Xueyong, after being approved as a youth training center, the Chinese Football Association will give all around support to Chongqing on policy, management, competitions and training. Funding support will also be further enhanced. At the same time, the Chinese Football Association will appoint an excellent inspector general and coaches to provide direct technical assistance to Chongqing. The Youth Training Center also hired a well-known Chongqing coach, Ma Yuchang, as inspector general, three foreign coaches and five local youth coaches who have National Football Team experience to ensure the effectiveness of youth training.
