2018-03-22 14:31:52

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 19-year-old man sits by the ticking clocks five to six hours a day. He’s the one who “repairs” time.

“Dangdangdang......” in the “repairing time” shop with coffee fragrance in the air, the clocks strike on the hour one after another. Entering the shop, you see an old style bike standing at the entrance with a variety of old clocks hung on the wall on either side. The small shop appears unique in the busy city block. The shop owner, Liu Qiufeng, is a 19-year-old junior who started his own business three years ago; his major job now is to repair clocks and watches.

When he was a little boy, Liu Qiufeng always watched his uncle-in-law, a clock and watch technician. He was encouraged to follow his interests in fine machining. Later, he was apprenticed to a master and learned the mechanical skills, eventually mastering them.
