According to statistics, Chongqing Airport will handle 5870 scheduled flights per week during summer and autumn, a YoY growth of 3.02%.

The airport will add flights to Longnan, Meizhou and Wugang and restart regular flights to 16 domestic destinations, including Altay, Puer, Tongliao, Zhongwei, Lianyungang, Baoshan, etc. At the same time, there will be more wide-body flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, There will also be more flights to other main airports. The weekly flights from Chongqing to Nanchang, Zhuhai, Lanzhou, Hohhot and other cities will be increased by more than 50% to futher improve the transportation capacity.

Compared with the same period of last year, there will be five new international airlines, including Chongqing to Ho Chi Minh, New York, Melbourne, Hanoi and Hat Yai. The flights to Krabi, Kaliba and Samui will be restarted. The flights to Chinese Taipei will increase to 16 flights per week.
