CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- A new traditional culture exhibition on “Chinese Charm and Originality” has been held in Chongqing University. The program is designed to spark interest of contemporary college students in the traditional culture of China so that they can have a better study, understanding and inheritance of Chinese traditional culture.

All of the calligraphy works shown at the exhibition were from students of Chongqing University. Handmade hairpins and Han Chinese clothing were also on display. In addition, fine porcelain, red paper cutting and Chinese knots are full of good wishes of the students.

The exhibition shows contemporary college students to love traditional culture and encourages them to learn and promote the essence of Chinese traditional culture in their own ways. Even though their skills may not be mature, they still want to have a try and make efforts to learn.

In addition, many kinds of games are arranged in the exhibition, including chess, Monopoly, lantern riddles, language games of different levels and other brain games. Student fully experience the artistic culture through music theory, quiz of tea art, calligraphy facsimile, reciting and creating poems, other literature and art games.
