CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Independence Day of Poland, the First Chongqing · Poland Cultural Festival “POLSKA. Edgar Bąk, the renowned graphic artist, and his team, created the plane designs. Poland is proud of its 15 protected areas listed as world heritages by UNESCO, and visitors may appreciate the beauty of heritages in Poland such as the wooden church groups, Torun Ancient Town and Old City of Zamosc in Chongqing.

Poland and Chongqing have a profound relationship in history in spite of being separated by about 7,000km. “Before the World War II, Chongqing and Poland have a long history of communication, and the Embassy of Poland was in Chongqing for two years,” said Katarzyna·Wilkowiecka, the Consul-General of Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chengdu. “I’ve been in Chongqing several times and am fond of the buildings and sceneries here.
