Tuge Xiangwu · City and Dance Ballet Art Photography Exhibition starts
The city is the most extensive and inclusive stage for dancers. The dance stretches the veins of the city, blends in with the bones of the city, injects new flesh and blood into the city, and gives a richer interpretation. This photography exhibition takes the theme of “city and dance” and attempts to capture the interactions between the dancer and the city through the lens of the photographer. Viewers can discover the resonance between the two.
The mountain city at the foot of the ballet dancer has a hard-to-replicate light and style. The storms and glory of Jiangzhou City in 3,000 years and Chongqing in 800 years may be found in a dancer's bright smile, or it may be an alleyway green trace. Photographers transform the dancers' unique interpretations of city history through an international perspective. They take into account the present and future of the city with their visual art, and explore the multiple possibilities of urban and artistic development.
At the exhibition site, a piece of exquisite work appeared before everyone's eyes. The colliding sparks of the dancers and the city amazed many people on the scene. Many viewers said that they rarely viewed our city and ballet from such an astonishing or unique perspective. From the works, they saw Chongqing’s artistic side and also felt that artistic stage can be found everywhere in life.
The Tuge Xiangwu · City and Dance Photography Exhibition will continue until May 20th. Visitors can come and see it for free. (Translated by Yang Lifu, Fathom Language Limited)
