CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Children’s Day is coming. As a parent or a person still retaining childlike innocence, do you have a special and meaningful trip plan? Recently, the Chongqing Planning Bureau and Chongqing Geomatics Center jointly published the Map of Places for Children. How about having a trip with your children on Children’s Day?

Chongqing is a beautiful city, so you can have a trip to amusement parks, theme parks and popular science bases with your children. You can widen your knowledge and enhance the family relationships. The Map of Places for Children includes many places for you and your children. Now, I will show some of them to you.

1. Chongqing Happy Valley 重庆欢乐谷

There are six theme zones to enjoy: Happy Time, Dream Island, Typhoon Bay, Dinosaur Forest, Old Chongqing and Valley Mine Town. It includes over 100 international first-class entertainment items, five performances and six festivals.

2. Chongqing Andover Ocean Park 重庆汉海海洋公园

It includes two theme parks: Ocean Park and Dolphin Bay Water Park. There are also special theme zones, including Rain Forest, Jellyfish, Pandora Plaza and 360° Panoramic Coral Reef. You can see the original rain forest, and learn about the multiplicative process of jellyfish. You can have a special experience in the natural environment formed by a man-made landscape.

3. Chongqing Jihua Park Extreme Sports Center 重庆际华园极限运动中心

Here you will find indoor skydiving, indoor surfing, sport climbing, climbing for children, spelunking, ropeway and other exciting, fashionable and fresh top extreme sports from around the world. It is a park integrating sports and entertainment.

4. Chongqing Natural History Museum 重庆自然博物馆

Located at the foot of Jinyun Mountain, Beibei, it consists of six exhibitions that show the earth’s evolution, life evolution, biological diversity and the mountains and rivers of Chongqing. It has over 110,000 collections. This is the domestic natural museum that contains the maximum types of collections, including the Mesozoic Period dinosaur fossils and vertebrate specimens of western China.

5. Chongqing Fantawild Sci-Fi Theme Park 重庆金源方特科幻公园

It includes ten theme items, such as the Galaxy Plaza, Sky Sailor, The Space and Special Effect Studio. Subjects at Fantawild cover outer space, life, environmental protection, energy, aviation, world history and other scientific and technological fields.
