CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Together with Hongyadong, the Liziba Station of Line 2 running through a building has become a celebrity site that tourists are sure to visit. As early as 1998, the designing of the Liziba Station of Line 2 had begun, crossing through a building was a first for China, and still is considered unique even after 20 years. Ye Tianyi, the person in charge and designer of the Station’s construction as well as instructor at the School of Civil Engineering of Chongqing University, told the story behind the design.
