CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Pictures of Grandpa wearing glasses repairing articles, actor performing Sichuan Opera, a monkey holding a golden cudgel… these were subjects found at the “Children’s Day Art Works Exhibition of Chongqing Art Museum” which opened at the Chongqing Art Museum, Jiefangbei the other day. Over 300 outstanding art works full of imagination from children were exhibited.

It is reported that those outstanding works were collected by invitation. With a theme of “My Hometown, My Dream”, the exhibition demonstrates the great potential and pure instinct of children through several types of work, such as plane paintings, 3D handcraft works and paper cuttings.

Huang Jiayu, a 10-year-old student from Dongshuimen Primary School, created “A Lady Wearing Jewelry”. “I was inspired by my sister when she lies on the couch after work.” Huang Jiayu said that she is very happy to take part in this exhibition, and for her this is the best present ever for International Children’s Day.
