Dress costumes are featured on the "intangible cultural heritage" stage

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Last weekend, an intangible cultural heritage fashion show was staged at Shacixiang. Chongqing-style cheongsam, Miao costumes and other intangible cultural heritage costumes made their appearances and brought a beautiful visual feast to the audiences.

The cheongsams showed in the evening have patterns like hand-painted plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo and chrysanthemum, dragon and phoenix, and traditional Fuwa. Jiang Lingjun, the inheritor of the “Junlin a-hundred-year Cheongsam”, said: “It is the spirit of Chongqing, which has both the features of Beijing-style cheongsam and Shanghai-style cheongsam. It connects the past, present and future of the mountain city and it is the carrier of the Chongqing spirit.”

In addition, audiences were impressed by Miao's mysterious and unique ceremonial dress, simple and generous daily dress, ethnic cheongsam which integrates fashion and traditional elements, and an exquisite wedding dress.
