CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing Passenger Cableway has issued a message that to reduce the tourists’ waiting time, the Yangtze River Cableway scenic spot has upgraded the booking package system. Starting June 16, the time for advance ticket purchases by tourists is reduced from the day before the ride to just two hours before the ride.

To reduce the waiting time, visitors can book a cableway ticket from 10:00 to 20:00 (two shifts per hour) every day within three days of the ride (a ride can be reserved just two hours before on the same day) on the WeChat public account of “重庆索道公司”(Chongqing Passenger Company). After a successful booking, visitors do not need to line up. After being verified by the staff, they can enter the "reservation channel" to take the Yangtze River Cableway with their (who booked the tickets) valid certificates using their mobile phone at a predetermined time.

The booking package fare is RMB 60, including a one-way ticket of cable car from Xinhua Road to Shangxin Street, one beverage, cableway interpretation service, sightseeing bus ticket/trip. That is, after the tourists purchase the package ticket, they can take the Yangtze River Cableway from Xinhua Road Station to Shangxin Street Station, and then take a sightseeing bus to tour Nanbin Road, and finally return to the Shangxin Street Station of Yangtze River Cableway.
