CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- It was announced that from July 1st, in order to facilitate passengers changing trains between North Square of Chongqingbei Railway Station and Chongqingxi Railway Station, the railway department will operate bus-like trains between the two stations. A total of seven pairs of trains are scheduled each day. The trains will run for 23 to 26 minutes in total. The price of tickets for first-class seats will be 25 yuan and second-class seats 15 yuan.

Chongqingxi Railway Station opened on January 25th this year, serving as the departure and terminal station of railways connecting Chongqing with cities such as Guizhou, Lanzhou, Xiangyang, Suining and Chengdu. After the timetable adjustment on July 1st this year, 76 pairs of trains will be used. At present, passengers mostly choose to travel between North Square of Chongqingbei Railway Station and Chongqingxi Railway Station by bus, which takes one to two hours. Even a "high-speed rail express bus" will take at least 40 minutes. With the introduction of bus-like trains, transfer time between the two stations will be greatly reduced.
