New section of exhibition Road of Rejuvenation to open to public
BEIJING, July 1 (Xinhua) -- A new section of "The Road of Rejuvenation," a permanent exhibition on national revival at China's National Museum, will open to the public on Tuesday in Beijing.
The exhibition, staged at the National Museum since 2011, shows events since 1840, when China was forced to open its door to foreign powers after defeat in the Opium War.
The new section was added to show achievements since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012.
The section has 10 parts of different themes, including modernization and governance, ecological conservation and building a community with a shared future for humanity.
