The 2018 China Intercity Robotics Challenge Selection--Chongqing Trial was holding in Chongqing Science and Technology Museum.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the Chongqing Open of the 8th China Intercity Robotics Challenge Selection has been held in the Chongqing Science and Technology Museum. The advanced players will participate in the National Finals to be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Province from August 11 to 12, 2018.

The Chongqing Open has set up five sections, including “Perfect Replication”, “You Say&I Do ”, “Pea Shooter”, “Energy Transportation” and “Super Track”. Around 500 competitors from nearly 200 families from all regions of Chongqing joined in the contest.

The majority competitors in the “Perfect Replication” are children who are about five years old and accompanied by his or her parents. First of all, the organizing committee sets up a model in advance. After watching the model, parents will guide the children to build a new model with language description. The first place belongs to the family that finishes the model which is the most similar to the pre-set one within the shortest time.

The activity “Perfect Replication” is beneficial to strengthen the parent-child relationship and enhance children’s hands-on ability.
